Droste’s Front-End Scheduling module is a highly flexible program that can significantly reduce scheduling time – placing your managers back on the floor with your customers.
Droste’s Front-End Scheduling module eliminates the need for managers to spend extensive hours developing complex schedules. It maintains availability, time off, holiday, and sales projection books on-line. The system uses the on-line books and your average item price to calculate total budgeted hours for the week. Total budgeted hours are matched up with your shopping pattern profiles to determine hours needed per day, per hour, and per department – even on holidays. Once complete, the system builds the weekly store schedule for cashiers, baggers, and departments. As part of this process, Droste’s Front- End Scheduling module determines how many cashiers are required for each hour in every day and accounts for those projections when building the schedule.
Labor laws add a level of complexity to scheduling. Droste’s Front-End Scheduling module manages these labor law requirements. During restricted business hours, the system will not allow managers to inadvertently over-schedule or incorrectly schedule minors. Conversely, during holidays, the system accounts for holiday exceptions to labor laws, making the scheduling process simple any time of the year.
