ITEM FILE MANAGER

The foundation of Droste’s Retail Solutions, the Item File Manager offers you the ability to manage both office and store data simply and efficiently. Since all data files are maintained centrally, your office enters data only once. The Item File Manager then delivers the information to the appropriate Droste and external systems for internal use with billbacks, POS, DSD, best-cost purchasing, inventory management, retail accounting, and markdown accounting. The information is also available for data exchange with vendors, wholesalers, EDI, store scales, and marketing research firms.  See a demo.

  Enter data without time constraints

When you receive deals in advance, you have the flexibility to enter them all immediately and begin planning your ad. You can also track billbacks for as little as one week or as long as one year and set up markdown tracking for retail accounting.  You choose the timeframe and the system manages everything.

  Plan ads efficiently

The Item File Manager streamlines the ad creation process and saves significant data entry time. Enter items pertaining to the ad once and the data is shared with Droste’s Ad Planner. This allows buyers to immediately begin preparing ads without re-keying any information. Buyers can also pinpoint trouble spots early by projecting total store gross profit before finalizing an ad.  Customized Ad Order reports help buyers plan and allocate orders more efficiently. Buyers can create Ad Order reports for the advertiser, suppliers, vendors, and wholesalers by including pertinent items such as ad size and placement, as well as prior store sales, movement and pricing information. Each audience receives only the information they need to make informed decisions.
