Q: Droste is a strange name. Where does it come from?
A: Droste is the last name of our CTO and Founder, Thomas G. Droste. It’s also the name of a very yummy Dutch chocolate.
Q: How many employees work at Droste?
A: We currently have fourteen full-time employees.
Q: What are Droste’s employees’ areas of expertise?
A: All the members of our support and training teams have previous retail grocery operations experience—these guys and gals know the business. We also endeavor to hire the best people we can find: whether it’s programmers, administrative staff or project managers. Our employees have to be good at what we do: customer service and customized solutions.
Q: Bigger firms have more resources at their disposal. Why should I choose Droste over one of these others?
A: There are three reasons to select Droste over one of our competitors, but only one really matters: Customer Service. Sure, it’s a buzzword, but at Droste it’s also a way of life, a mantra and why we eat our Wheaties in the morning. Each client can expect the same high-level of individualized customer service from Droste from the first sales pitch. We’re not just making a sale, we’re building a relationship. Our customer loyalty numbers speak for themselves.
By the way, the other two reasons are customization and flexibility. If one of our modules is “almost” what you want, we’ll work until it’s exactly what you want. We’re not going to apply the same solution to every client—it doesn’t make sense. What we will do is determine the best solutions for you and your business and implement those.
